I began my career in post production with several films and commercials at the film agency Conspiração Filmes (Brazil). I was able to quickly learn the inner-workings of film production. After quickly ascending to the position of Production Producer, I was lucky enough to be given additional opportunities with other agencies to work with top-notch directors including José Henrique Fonseca, Fabio Soares, Claudio Torres, Lula Buarque de Hollanda and Arthur Fontes. Under their tutelage, we collaborated on very successful projects with clients such as HBO, TIM, GM Chevrolet, Pepsi and Gatorade.
The crux of my experience came after my work on the documentary film The Beetle KFZ-1348 wherein I developed a strong working relationship with the directors Pedro Becker and Paulo Vainer. The collaborative projects that followed, including numerous commercials for clients such as Boticário, Ford, Skol, Renault, Pepsi, and Volkswagen, aided me in my understanding of how to produce quality content. Furthermore, I was able to learn the art of designing and executing conceptually excellent commercials.
After many years of working in Brazil’s post production industry, I found my myself craving new challenges, for which I came to San Francisco to further develop my career.
